Our Story
On February 18, 1917, the Montrose Nazarene Mission met for the first time in a small storefront on Cascade Avenue. From a store front ministry to the present day, the good news of the gospel of Jesus has been preached in Montrose. The Montrose Nazarene Church continues to proclaim the love of Jesus to our local community. Lives have forever been changed and eternal destinies altered because of the faithfulness and effectiveness of those who call themselves Nazarenes. Montrose of today looks decidedly different than the Montrose of 1917. Even now God continues to call us to bring the love of Jesus to those who live in present day Montrose and beyond.
Why Give?
The Church of the Nazarene has no greater mission than reaching those who do not yet know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and then helping them become Christlike disciples. Your giving supports the vital ministries of the Church of the Nazarene.

Being a Christian is more than just an instantaneous conversion – it is a daily process whereby you grow to be more and more like Christ.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing.
